Type of Accommodation
The types of accommodation represented by our institution in Greece are divided into the following categories:
- Rented Furnished Rooms
- Rented Furnished Apartments
- Tourist Furnished Dwellings
- Tourist Furnished Mansions (Villas)
Rented Furnished Rooms are small, with one bedroom and no kitchen for cooking but only a refrigerator and, optionally, a kettle, a sandwich maker and a toaster. As they are in Greece, most of them also feature air conditioning. They are built in accordance with building regulations for houses.
Rented Furnished Apartments are larger than rooms, can be single-room, two-room, three-room apartments etc. They feature a regular kitchen with an exhaust hood, cooking and dining utensils in quantities proportional to the number of their beds, a refrigerator with freezer and may optionally have a sandwich maker, a kettle, a coffee maker and a microwave oven. As they are in Greece, most of them also feature air conditioning. They are built in accordance with building regulations for houses.
Tourist Furnished Dwellings are separate detached houses or complexes of detached houses, with a surface area of at least 40 sq.m., with autonomous operation and independent external access. They feature a fully equipped kitchen. In many cases, they also include a private pool. As they are in Greece, most of them also feature air conditioning. They are built in accordance with building regulations for houses.
Tourist Furnished Mansions (Villas) are independent detached houses, with a surface area of at least 80 sq.m. They have an independent external access and are built on independent land. They can accommodate up to 10 people. They feature a fully equipped kitchen and may have more than one bathroom. In many cases, they also include a private pool. As they are in Greece, most of them also feature air conditioning. They are built in accordance with building regulations for houses.
